Terms of use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TJ, operated from Istanbul, Türkiye (contact: support@tjtrace.com). By creating an account or using TJ you accept them.
Not financial advice. TJ is journaling and analytics software. It does not give investment advice, trading signals or recommendations to buy or sell anything.
1. What TJ is
TJ is journaling and analytics software for traders. It helps you plan, record and review your own trades. TJ is not financial, investment or trading advice. Grades, scores, alerts, statistics and AI reviews are calculated from the rules and data you enter. They can be wrong or incomplete, and they don't guarantee any result. Trading carries a high risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.
2. Prop-firm rules
Prop-firm alerts are based on the rules you type in and on the trades you log. They are a convenience only. Your prop firm's own dashboard and rules always decide whether an account passes, fails or is breached.
3. Changes to TJ
TJ is updated often. Features may change, be removed or have bugs, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may also switch a feature off for a while, for example to fix a problem. Please keep your own backups (Profile → Download full backup).
4. Your account
You must be at least 13 to use TJ. If you are 13 to 17, you need a parent's or guardian's permission; by giving it, your parent or guardian also accepts these terms for you and is responsible for your use of TJ. Accounts under 18 can't buy paid plans, connect MetaTrader or exchanges, use mentor spaces, share strategies or use the community board. Give accurate sign-up details, including your age. Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been used without permission. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, or that a user under 18 doesn't have permission, we may close it and delete its data.
5. Your content
Your trades, notes, strategies, comments and screenshots stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to run and improve TJ, as described in the privacy policy, including read-only access by TJ admins for support, security and quality review. If you share a strategy or join a mentor space, sections 7 and 8 also apply. Only upload content you have the right to use.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse TJ: no attempts to access other users' data, break or overload the service, reverse-engineer it, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful. Don't use shared strategies, comments or mentor spaces to advertise, sell signals or harass anyone.
7. Community strategies
You can share a strategy with other TJ users in the community library.
- You keep ownership. When you share a strategy, you give TJ and other TJ users a free, non-exclusive licence to view it and to copy its checklist for use inside TJ.
- Results come from your journal. TJ calculates the results shown, in R, from your own closed trades with that strategy. Nobody can type them in. They never show money, your accounts or individual trades.
- Rules for what you share: no promises or guarantees of results, no signals, no ads, no links or contact details, and only your own work, not other people's.
- Moderation. TJ may refuse or hide shared content, and may suspend your ability to share, if it breaks these rules or is reported. You'll see the reason in the app.
- Stopping. You can stop sharing at any time. Copies other users already made are theirs and stay in their journals.
- Other people's strategies are shared by users, not by TJ. We don't test or endorse them. Past results don't predict future results.
8. Mentor spaces
A mentor space connects a coach with their students inside TJ.
- Students choose. When you join a space, you decide whether your coach can see your journal, read-only. You can stop sharing or leave the space at any time.
- Coaches can view a sharing student's journal only inside TJ. Coaches must not copy, export, publish or share a student's data outside TJ, and may use it only to coach that student.
- Comments on trades and in a student's thread are visible to the coach and that student.
- Arrangements between you. Any agreement, fee or payment between a coach and a student is only between them. TJ isn't a party to it and isn't responsible for the coaching.
9. AI review
- AI review is an automated analysis of your own journal. It is written by an AI model: Anthropic's Claude, used through its API as our service provider.
- It uses R-based statistics from your journal, and your trade notes only if you switch on "Let AI read my notes". The privacy policy explains what is sent.
- It can be wrong. Check it against your own numbers. It is not financial advice and not a recommendation to trade.
10. Plans and prices
- Plans: Free, Silvy and Sapphire. Silvy costs $19 a month or $159 a year. Sapphire costs $59 a month or $490 a year. Prices are in US dollars. What each plan includes is shown in More › Plans and on tjtrace.com.
- Billing. The Free plan costs nothing. Silvy and Sapphire are paid plans, billed through Whop. Nothing is billed without your agreement at checkout, and you can cancel any time.
- Taxes. Any VAT or sales tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Founding members. Accounts created by 5 December 2026 (23:59 Istanbul time) get 30% off their first year of Silvy or Sapphire.
- Price changes are announced in the app at least 7 days before they apply. For an existing subscription, a new price applies from your first renewal after that notice. If you don't want to pay it, cancel before then.
11. Payments, renewal and cancelling
- Whop. Checkout and billing are handled by Whop, our payment provider. You pay through Whop, and Whop's own terms also apply to the payment. TJ never sees your card number.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time through Whop or by writing to support@tjtrace.com. You keep paid access until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your account moves to Free.
- Downgrading never deletes your data. If you move to a lower plan, everything stays. Features of the higher plan become read-only: you can still see what you made with them, but you can't add to it.
12. Refunds and your right to withdraw
- 14-day refund. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription. Write to support@tjtrace.com or ask through Whop.
- Renewal payments after that aren't refunded, unless the law requires it. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- EU and UK consumers. If you live in the EU or UK and buy as a consumer, the law gives you 14 days from the day you subscribe to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. Our 14-day refund covers this: ask within 14 days of your first payment and you get it back in full.
- Nothing here limits any other right that mandatory consumer law gives you where you live.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using TJ and delete your data at any time. Cancel any paid plan first, so you aren't charged again. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. Some billing records are kept after deletion, as the privacy policy explains.
14. No warranty and limits of liability
TJ is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data or indirect damages arising from your use of TJ, including from relying on AI reviews, shared strategies or coaching. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
15. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory rights you may have where you live.
